Midwest Greeting

Midwest Greeting was a project that challenged me to create a variety of stunning visuals that all tied back to one central theme. The basic description of the assignment was to create postcards of different destinations. I chose attractions in the midwest since I have grown up within the midwest my whole life. Additionally, I designed a character, a young boy, to be illustrated and posed for each state postcard. This assignment relied heavily on illustration so keeping the proportions correct through each card was another challenge I experienced. I chose illustration for this project because I find hand-drawn designs to be more personal and if a person is sending this to someone, they want the card to have a little heart.
