Midwest Greeting

Midwest Greeting is a set of postcards featuring unique destinations across the Midwest. I chose to center my theme around the Midwest as I have grown up in Iowa my whole life and am now choosing to study graphic design within the region. I wanted the cards to tie back to one idea, so I decided to create a character to be featured on all the cards. Through all the cards I illustrated this young boy attending all the attractions. I based him off the Dick and Jane serious and wanted to make him out as mischievous through his different interactions with destinations on each card. These postcards use a lot of illustrations for the designs because it adds a little personality to each card. I find that when I am giving someone a card, I want it to feel like the card has a little heart.
